  College life can bring both ups and downs for students. Some situations students encounter will be small and manageable, others may be moderate and increase anxiety or impact mood. 在男同性恋者中，学生并不孤单. 除了我们的住校助理, 住宿生活主任, 学生活动主任兼学生事务主任, we also have the Manhattan School of Music Counseling Center.

  The Counseling Center offers each student 8-10 free sessions of short-term, confidential counseling. If longer term treatment would be helpful or is necessary, the psychologist working with the student will provide a recommendation.

  The MSM Health & 健康护理/办公室 provides a culturally-competent and holistic approach to medical care that will help support and encourage students to succeed during their time here at MSM and beyond. Whether you have a medical question that needs answering or an ongoing medical issue that needs some attention, the Campus Health Nurse Office is a good place to start!

  • Health and wellness services are available free of charge (insurance is NOT required to visit the office) to both residential and non-residential students Monday through Friday during the academic school year.

  The Columbia University gym is nearby and available for MSM Students at a discounted rate as an Affiliate Member. Students who wish to join should go to the Hartley-Dodge Physical Fitness Center at Columbia with their Manhattan School of Music ID and proof of health insurance (if you are on the Manhattan School of Music plan, 你付过的大学学费就是证明.)

  There is also a gym located in the basement of Andersen Hall that is open to all currently enrolled students who live in Andersen Hall.
